During the pandemic, they sponsored underprivileged families in the Jewar district and regularly helped them with provisions, clothing, stationery, and emotional support on a monthly basis.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\">\n<h3><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Winter Clothing Drive<br \/>\n<\/span><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The Interact Club at GIIS Noida has started a Winter Clothing Donation Drive, where students collect items like woollen clothes, socks, caps, shawls, and blankets every winter to distribute them to<\/span> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">homeless people<\/span> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">who live on the Noida streets.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400; font-size: 16px;\">It was started through a partnership with Hamara Kartavya Organisation to offer winter essentials to underprivileged children in Sector 62, Noida. In the second phase, GIIS students collaborated with Hope and Care Foundation to extend the scope of the initiative with additional donations.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Both phases were successful in developing empathy among students. Students engaged in carefully planned activities throughout the week to broaden their perspective on poverty.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400; font-size: 16px;\">The program&#8217;s highlight was a Shark Tank-style classroom exercise in which students acted as policymakers to share ideas for government programs aimed at helping the underprivileged.
