There is a basic CGPA formula that makes it easy to calculate CGPA from marks.<\/p>

CGPA= Total Grade Point Obtained\/No. of Subjects<\/p><\/div><\/div>

To know your CGPA from marks, all you need to do is to put values in this formula, and you will get your CGPA. For instance, let’s get back to our example-<\/p>

2. CGPA evaluates students on a range of parameters along with performance in the final exam. This makes learning fun, and wholesome.<\/p>

3. CGPA makes it easier for teachers to also assess students, and classify them into groups. These groups can be on the basis of attention students need. For instance, teachers can group 10-8 CGPA students in one group, and 7-5 in another.<\/p>
