Each scholarship cycle lasts for 3 months. Four such cycles are held each year under the aegis of Global Schools Foundation. GSF ensures that meritorious students from financially challenged families get an opportunity to pursue their studies at one of the best schools in Singapore and fulfil their aims and targets.
Four types of scholarships are offered at GIIS Singapore. They are Global Citizen Scholarship, 9Gems Holistic Development Scholarship, Dr APJ Abdul Kalam Global Skills Scholarship, Mahatma Gandhi Universal Values Merit-cum-Means Scholarship and Global FUTURE-READY Merit Scholarship.
The eligibility criteria depend on a few variables like grade, tenure, academic performance etc. and hence vary in all the scholarships that we offer.

The school fees in Singapore depend on the school level you are in – nursery, primary, secondary, and post-secondary. MOE kindergartens cost $160/month for local citizens and $320/month for permanent citizens. Moreover, primary education for Singaporeans is free, and for permanent residents, it is $205/month. For international students from ASEAN countries, the fee is $440/month, and for other international students, the fees go as high as $700/month ($7000/term). School fees at GIIS depend on the class level along with the curriculum you choose to select. For instance, a student can pursue the IB Primary Years Programme with a fee of $6584.78/term.
Beyond the due date for payment mentioned in the invoice/Student Contract, a late payment fee of $100 (excluding GST) as stated in Schedule C of the Student Contract shall be applicable. This late fee shall be payable each month or part thereof for the outstanding school fees.
All parents/guardians of both local and international students should provide their details to the school for contact purposes. The guardian of the student should be a Singapore Citizen or a Singapore Permanent Resident above 18 years of age or the parent of the international student if the parent is working or staying in Singapore. The parents or guardians of the students are required to report any change in guardianship or details to the school as soon as possible.
For the cancellation of the bus services, a notice period of one full calendar month is required to be given to the school by the parents or guardians. If no notice or less than one full calendar month’s notice is given, payment in lieu of notice will be payable.
Once the bus service is cancelled, the parent can re-apply for the bus service by paying the Bus Service Re-Activation Fee according to the School’s Fee Structure.
