体验式学习及其积极成果

真实世界学习

GIIS 教育工作者所说的 "体验式学习 "是什么意思?体验式学习是指让学生练习某种技能,然后将其应用到实际环境中。学习如何驾驶就涉及到体验式学习过程,因为我们首先要学习道路规则,然后坐在汽车方向盘后练习所学。

在驾驶过程中,我们会根据推理做出判断,并经历后果和回报。因此,我们不仅要学会在驾驶时做什么,还要学会不做什么。整个过程培养了探索、观察、反思、推理和总结等技能。

但这种学习方式不仅对成年人有帮助,对学龄儿童也有帮助;它贯穿人的一生。投票是体验式学习的另一个很好的例子。成人可以了解候选人及其政纲,然后将选票投给他们最赞同的候选人。如果他们的候选人当选,他们就有机会看到他们的表现,并决定是否再次投票给这个人。

有机会在课堂上进行体验式学习的孩子,成年后会具备在生活中取得成功所需的批判性思维能力。因此,让学生在整个学校期间都有机会接触实践学习活动至关重要。

课堂上以学生为中心的学习是什么样的?

让我们以 "政府如何运作 "为题,以体验式学习的方式引入。它可能是这样的

1.学生从老师那里获得有关政府的立法、行政和司法部门的信息。

2.然后,学生选择自己想扮演的角色,并组成小组。

3.立法小组制定一套管理教室的规则。

4.执行小组确保规则得到执行。

5.司法小组评估规则,并制定违反规则的后果。

6.学生思考他们所学到的关于政府如何运作的知识。

7.然后,学生们就如何改进他们制定的制度制定策略。例如,他们可以重写规则以消除漏洞,或为违规行为设计更有效的后果。

8.学生有机会测试他们的新政府模式,看看效果如何。

当学生完成每一个步骤时,他们都在实践美国心理学家 David Kolb 博士提出的体验式学习的四个组成部分:

让学生接触新的学习经验的具体体验。

抽象概念化,他们将经验中的信息转化为假设或模型。

积极开展实验,让学生对自己创建的模型进行测试。从而培养学生的研究、批判性思维和解决问题的能力。

反思性观察,因为学生最终必须对这些经历进行反思。

体验式学习为何有益

这种学习方式让学生受益的原因有很多,但其中最大的原因是学生的参与。由于学生以一种愉快和创造性的方式学习材料,他们会更加投入。他们实际上想要找到答案并检验理论。然而,与传统的学习方法相比,体验式学习还有其他优势。这些优势包括

体验式学习能提高学习动力吗?

完全正确。研究表明,对自己的学习道路产生积极兴趣的学生往往学习成绩更好。为此,研究人员发现,学习动机需要四个基本要素:

3.信心

4.满意度

如果教材和授课方式中缺少其中的一个或多个要素,学生就会缺乏参与感。这反过来又会导致学生失去兴趣。这就是在一个充满兴奋、热情的学生的课堂上教学,与在一个充满怨恨的学习者的无聊头脑中钻研教学的区别。

有参与感和积极性的学生愿意学习教材。他们希望找到自己的答案,并根据自己的发现得出自己的结论。他们想尝试他们所学到的东西,看看是否真的有效,或者看看他们是否能改进现有的方法。

当学生在学习某个概念或观点的过程中达到这一点时,他们就向掌握知识迈进了一大步。他们已经进行了研究,得出了结论,形成了理论,检验了这些理论,并对所学知识进行了反思。

成为批判性思考者和问题解决者
