GIIS Dubai is excited to partner with IIT Madras CODE School Connect initiative to give school students an opportunity to take the 'Hands on Career Experience Programmes' offered by the esteemed professors. These are 4 to 8 week certificate programmes which introduce them to the basics of various disciplines so that the students can make informed higher education decisions.

Personalised career counselling from Grade 9 onwards
Starting as early as Grade 9, students at GIIS Dubai receive individualised career counselling tailored to their interests, strengths, and academic performance. Through detailed psychometric and aptitude assessments, our counsellors help students identify right-fit career pathways. These insights serve as a foundation for choosing appropriate subject combinations and co-curricular activities, ensuring alignment with future aspirations from the very beginning.
Subject selection aligned with career goals
Our counsellors guide Grades 9 and 10 students in selecting subjects strategically, helping them make informed choices that align with their future university courses or career goals. They explain how each subject can influence opportunities in science, commerce, or interdisciplinary fields, reducing uncertainty and enabling students to focus on building strong academic records in the areas most relevant to their aspirations.
End-to-end university application guidance
From Grade 11 onwards, students begin preparing for university applications with comprehensive support from our University Guidance team. This includes shortlisting colleges and courses, preparing for standardised tests, crafting standout essays and personal statements, and navigating scholarship opportunities. Our experts provide personalised mentoring, review application materials, and support students throughout each step of the admissions process.
