We offer students a wide range of International and Indian curricula, including the IB PYP (International Baccalaureate Primary Years Programme), Cambridge IGCSE, IB Diploma Programme, CBSE and our Global Montessori Programme for Kindergarten. This gives students the flexibility to choose an academic path based on their interests and future relocation plans.
Our customised preschool programme for Nursery, Kindergarten 1 and Kindergarten 2 students combines the Montessori method with best practices of preschool education.
The inquiry-based PYP programme encourages curiosity and independent thinking in students. Starting from Early Years 1 (age 3) to EY2 and EY3, the PYP culminates with Grade 5 at GIIS.
The CLSP for Grades 6 to 8, is a reputed curriculum, with a broad range of subjects that develop critical thinking and lays a strong foundation for the IGCSE.
The IGCSE (International General Certificate of Secondary education) is one of the most recognised secondary school programmes in the world for Grades 9 and 10.
One of the best pre-university programmes, the IBDP prepares students in Grades 11 and 12 with a solid foundation not just for university, but for life.
The Indian CBSE curriculum is offered to students from Grades 1 to 12. It is a structured, well-developed curriculum that continues to be relevant to modern needs.
Our bilingual programme is aimed at primary students who wish to have proficiency in both English and Mandarin.
Co-curricular activities are a part of the regular school day and allow students to develop interests in areas like Visual and Fine Arts, Music, Performing Arts and various Science clubs.
Our ECAs are conducted after school hours and are mostly sports-related. Students are required to take one ECA each. We offer sports like football, cricket, basketball, tennis etc.
To provide students with a holistic education, we use our 9GEMS framework to combine education excellence with sports, arts, leadership, community development and more.

Every teacher and staff in the primary school calls Fuuko by her name when they see her. They all know her well and this makes us feel welcome at GIIS. Fuuko has good teachers and enjoys the school library a lot. From being a shy student when she joined GIIS, she has now become a confident learner who actively participates in her class.
Our son, Rahul, feels completely at home at GIIS. He is involved in many activities and sports in school and we are extremely glad that GIIS believes in holistic development of its students. Thanks to the teachers for instilling a sense of confidence in the students and encouraging them to make a difference to the community that they live in.
