Yes, each and every student at the time of the admission process has to undergo counseling sessions and assessments. This is done to assess the knowledge of the student for availing a seat.
As the admissions are open all around the year, there is no deadline for the submission of the application form. But, to be on the safer side we encourage parents to submit at the earliest as the seats are allotted based on availability.
As per Ministry of Education (MOE) Singapore, the permitted High School age is between 16-18 Years.

There are two well-equipped GIIS campuses in Singapore that are nestled in the centre of the city. One is the SMART Campus at Punggol.
We facilitate open communication with parents and make them an integral part of the child’s learning journey. Through the dedicated MYGIIS portal, parents can get all the school-related activities. Apart from the regular parent-teachers meet, one-on-one sessions, and orientation programmes, parents can find details about regular updates, announcements, questions, and even administrative activities like fees, transport, etc.
During this pandemic, for students to take up virtual classes, GIIS introduced the concept of e-school for 1 to 5th graders who have taken up the CBSE curriculum and focuses only on core subjects like English, Mathematics, Science, and Social Sciences.
