Age Criteria for Kindergarten Admission

Indian International Kindergarten School in Singapore - A Snapshot
The Singapore education system has an expedient approach. Formal school education in Singapore begins from the Primary School years starting at age 7. However, the majority of children attend preschool in private international schools as pre primary education is not mandated by the government. Preschool education in Singapore comprises two broad sectors, the child care sector managed by Ministry of Community Development, Youth and Sports (MCYS) and Kindergartens registered under the MOE.

Parents seeking to avail the bus facility needs to check in which Zone they come under and choose the preference of pick and drop. The Transportation fee depends on these two parameters. Bus fee can be paid term-wise.

GIIS offers convenient modes of payment like GIRO, cashier order, cash, cheque, NETS, credit, and debit cards. Online payment can be done through Stripe, and QR code under PayNow. Cheques need to be addressed in favor of ‘GLOBAL INDIAN INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL PTE LTD.’
For the cancellation of transportation services a full one-month notice should be given to the school. The cancelation can be made through the MYGIIS portal in the section ‘School – School Bus – Request Start/Stop Service’.
The value-added programmes offered by GIIS are:
1. Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Mathematics or STEAM kit that includes 8 experiments to be used by the students for the academic year.
2. Hey Math! is an online tool that helps students understand Math and chisel their Mathematical skills at an early age.
