同样,国际文凭组织认为,真正的国际教育能够让学生 "建立和加强自身的认同感和文化意识"。最近,我有幸参观了六年级《全球视野》课程的复习课,学生们正在学习 "人口迁移的原因"。学生们与老师分享了他们的想法,老师同时将他们的想法用 iPad 记录下来,并立即将学生们的想法投影到大屏幕上。为了帮助他们加深理解,我自告奋勇地以十年前移民到新加坡的人为例。随后,学生们就我为什么离开祖国和我在新加坡的经历提出了令人印象深刻的问题。他们证明了自己能够将这一 "真实情况 "和国际背景运用到移民的推拉因素中,这在概念上具有挑战性。
