The application process for admissions at GIIS Abu Dhabi is quite straightforward. No, school admissions are open entire year round. Students or parents interested in applying for GIIS can fill out a simple admission form available on our website and we will get in touch with them soon.

GIIS Abu Dhabi offers an international curriculum from Pre KG to grade 12.

GIIS Abu Dhabi offers two different types of curriculum – Global Montessori Plus programme for KG1 and KG2 and CBSE curricula from Grade 1 to Grade 12.
Under the GMP programme, we offer the universally-acclaimed Montessori programme in combination with our unique version of childhood schooling. Students belonging to Nursery and Kindergarten can seek admissions to this programme. There are 5 parts of this programme – Excelerate programme, Multi-faceted learning, iPlay programme, iCare programme and Future-ready programme.
The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) offers a comprehensive curriculum which prepares students from Grades 1 to 12 for competitive examinations thereby making their admission into the world’s leading universities a possibility.
GIIS Abu Dhabi provides a combination of traditional CBSE methodologies and GIIS’ unique 9GEMS holistic educational framework.
9Gems is a dynamic educational framework focused on bringing forth an all-round development in students using an integrated, holistic approach to learning. The core principle of the 9Gems programme is that the students need more than academic skills under their belt to successfully overcome future hurdles.
At GIIS Abu Dhabi, the subjects vary according to different grades and curriculum that a student chooses.

For Grades 1- 10, the subjects offered are- English2 languages( any one subject from French, Hindi, Arabic), Science, Social science and Mathematics. Also, one optional subject has to be chosen among the two – Information Technology or Artificial Intelligence.
For Grades 11 and 12, the subjects are offered according to 3 different streams and combinations:

Combination 2: English, Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and Computer Science
Combination 3: English, Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and Physical Education

Commerce
Combination 1: English, Accountancy, Business Studies, Economics and Mathematics
Combination 2: English, Accountancy, Business Studies, Economics and Computer Science

Students only have the option of choosing their Optional subject from grades 1 to 10. Rest, all other subjects remain fixed for all students.
Students of Grades 11 and 12, have to choose from three different streams and their combinations.
Scholarships are offered to the students of GIIS Abu Dhabi from Grades 1 to 12. The categories of the scholarship depend on talent, merit and gross income.
The tenure of each scholarship depends on the type of scholarship and hence it ranges between 1 to 2 years.
Six different scholarships are offered at GIIS Abu Dhabi. They are Global Future Ready Merit Scholarship, Zayed Gandhi Merit Cum Means Scholarship, Dr APJ Abdul Kalam Global Skills Scholarship, 9Gems Holistic Development Scholarship, GIIS Superstar Scholarship and Global Citizen Scholarship.
The eligibility criteria are different for each scholarship and hence it depends on a student’s grade, tenure, academic performance and that the student must be a UAE resident.
