Q1.是什么让扩展论文成为国际文凭项目不可或缺的一部分?

据我们了解,IBDP 的重点是国际文凭学习者的 10 项特征和教与学技能的方法,我们看到的是国际文凭组织坚持创造力、发展思维能力、研究能力、沟通能力和自我管理能力。

此外,国际文凭的总体目标是培养学生的国际意识。因此,欧洲教育被视为培养学生这些素质的国际文凭课程的主要组成部分之一。

这是一篇指导性研究论文,写作时间为一年半。在 DP,每个科目都需要进行研究,这就是为什么他们有内部评估(IA)。在内部评估中,学生还是要在任课教师的指导下进行个人研究,并撰写论文,但这些论文或作业是最基本的。

它可以只有 800-1600 字,是一篇小论文,但不能达到扩展论文的程度,因为扩展论文是非常详尽的。

EE 涵盖了研究论文的所有方面

EE 的最大字数为 4000 字。EE 具有研究论文的所有方面--引文、参考文献、引用他人的观点/数据,并确保对研究问题进行连贯、合理的分析。

Q2.EE 为学生提供了深入研究自选课题的机会。学生如何缩小选题范围?

为 EE 选题应该是最困难的部分。我们总是告诉学生,要根据自己的热情来选择题目,而不是为了选择一个好题目而选择题目。如果你这样做了,那么你就会陷入两难的境地,因为你需要写 4000 字,这并不容易,因此,学生们必须选择正确的主题,并探索他们真正感兴趣的合适的扩展论文题目。

因此,我们告诉学生,如果你对物理感兴趣,就去研究物理方面的课题。我们的学生可以访问 JSTOR,这是一个在线图书馆,收录了各学科的学术文章、期刊、书籍和原始资料。大多数IB 学校都使用 JSTOR。

国际文凭组织就是要研究当代世界问题

除此之外,国际文凭组织的宗旨是研究当代世界的问题,并试图找到解决方案,或者说让学生有能力找到解决方案来应对新出现的挑战。因此,我们告诉学生们要用物理、化学或数学的视角来观察周围的环境,找出他们所看到的问题,然后尝试用所学的相关学科知识找到可行的解决方案。

它可以是一个已经确立的解决方案,你可以尝试通过创新想法对其进行改进。尽管 EE 简报会是在 9 月中旬举行的,但我们会给学生一个多月的时间来告诉我们他们感兴趣的领域。

Q3.儿童可以通过哪些途径寻求支持,或向欧洲教育主管寻求帮助?

就扩展论文而言,除了学科专业知识外,指导教师还必须随时了解国际文凭组织的协议、标准和时间表。

必须记录与主管的 3 次强制性正式会议

国际文凭组织规定,导师与学生之间可以进行尽可能多的非正式讨论。非正式讨论可以是导师和学生在走廊上进行一分钟的意见交流。国际文凭组织还严格规定,在整个过程中,你要与学生坐下来谈三次。

国际文凭组织提供必须记录在案的 "规划与进展反思表"(RPP 表)。因此,导师与学生之间的三次强制性正式会议必须记录在案。这必须反映出讨论的具体内容。

学科教师担任拓展论文指导教师

在 GIIS,IB 一年级开始时,学校的扩展论文主管会做一次 EE 简报。

完成后,学生们会填写一份表格,提供有关的详细信息:
