Admission Process for the academic year 2027-2028.
- Admission Form Opening Date: 2nd November 2026, Monday.
- Timing: 11:00 AM (UAE) Time
Important Notes:
- Submission of the registration form does not guarantee admission or reserve a seat.
- All registrations will be placed on the waiting list, and admission confirmation will be subject to seat availability.
- Academic placement tests, observations, and/or interviews, where applicable and in accordance with ADEK admission guidelines, will be conducted subject to seat availability, as the campus is currently operating at full capacity. Students who meet the eligibility criteria will be placed on the waiting list, and admission will be confirmed only if a seat becomes available.
- All communication will be conducted via email. Parents are requested not to visit the campus without a prior appointment.
- Registration fee is non-refundable.
Priority for Admission
The school will prioritize admission for the following categories of students:
- Existing sibling students
- Children of staff
- GIIS inter-school transfers (within or outside the UAE)
- Students from Corporate Connect partner companies
- New students with siblings
- Former GIIS students
- Staff referral
- Non-GIIS students
Waitlist Criteria: All children will be placed on the waiting list, and admission seat confirmations will be provided subject to seat availability.

Online admission form
- The admission form will be available under the Admissions tab.
- The seats are limited, please be informed that students will initially be placed on a waiting list and subsequently granted admission based on the availability of grades.
- The admission form for the Academic Year 2027–28 will open on 2nd November 2026, Monday at 11:00 AM (UAE) onwards.
Please Note:
- A separate form must be submitted for each new admission
- Incomplete forms will not be accepted
- Please ensure that the student’s name and date of birth match the passport exactly
- Double-check all details before submission to avoid delays in processing

Admissions Assessments
- Pre-KG, KG1, and KG2: Only face-to-face assessments with Kindergarten Supervisor in the campus.
- Grade 1 to Grade 8: Students will undergo observation /written exams/ interviews (in-person or via Zoom). We give preference to those students who are outside Abu Dhabi for Zoom.
- Grade 9 and above – Face to Face assessment / Written Exam in the school with subject teachers and Academic supervisor.
- Assessments will be conducted for each grade on a first-come, first-served basis, according to the sequence/order number assigned to the registration form.

Provisional Admission Registration Fee
Parents who wish to be placed on the waiting list may pay a provisional registration fee of AED 500 after the assessment.
Refundable if:
- The school is unable to confirm the admission seat.
- Parents choose to cancel the application while on the waiting list (a formal email with reason must be sent to the Admissions Counsellor) before we give the confirmation of the seats.
- The refund will be processed within 3–4 weeks.
Non-refundable if:
- An admission seat is offered, but the parent chooses not to accept it.
- Once an admission seat is accepted, the fee will be adjusted against Term 2 tuition fees

Document Verification and Payment of Tuition Fee
- Required documents must be uploaded at the time of filling out the online registration form.
- The Admissions Counsellor will verify all documents as per the admissions checklist
- Once verified, an invoice for tuition fees will be issued
- Tuition fee includes (Term 1 -Tuition fee, Books, uniform and transportation (if opted))

ADEK Registrations
- Following fee payment, the Admissions Counsellor will initiate the ADEK registration process
- Students are permitted to attend school only after receiving ADEK approval through the eSIS system.
