Do I need to be a national or international-level athlete to apply?
No. We welcome students competing at city/ward, prefecture, national, or international level. What matters is sustained commitment, not just the highest tier reached.
What sports are eligible?
All sports are eligible.
Is this scholarship only for Japanese nationals?
No. GIIS Tokyo has an international student body, and the scholarship is open to any student who meets the athletic and academic criteria.
