The cost of living and education is relatively higher in Japan but still a reasonable annual fee is charged by GIIS which ranges anywhere between JPY 290,905 – 632,500 per term depending on the curriculum chosen by the student.

The preferred mode of fee payment is via Auto Debit i.e. GIRO. Onetime payment/ First term payment can be made via credit card.

GIIS Japan follows a three-term fee payment structure each academic year for programmes including Kindergarten, CBSE, PYP, CLSP, and Cambridge. Term 1 (April–July) fees are due by 27 March, Term 2 (August–November) fees are due by 27 July, and Term 3 (December–March) fees are due by 27 November. Parents can refer to the official fee structure for detailed payment information.

The school bus transport fee at GIIS Japan is paid together with the school fees, following the same payment schedule. This means the transport fee is included in the three-term fee payment cycle used for tuition and other applicable charges.

A monthly fee payment option may be considered at GIIS Japan, but it is subject to approval from the School Management. Parents who wish to request monthly payments can contact the school administration for further guidance and approval.

At GIIS Japan, the first fee payment is made using a credit card. Subsequent payments are processed through an auto-debit system, and parents are required to register their bank cash card with the Finance Department to set up the auto-debit arrangement.

Yes, parents can manage fees through structured payment plans and a dedicated school mobile app.

The tenure of the scholarship is between 1-2 years depending upon the scholarship availed by the student.

The scholarship fee is applicable only on the tuition fee mostly and does not include one time registration fee, transport or bus fee, uniform and miscellaneous fee.

Once the student is eligible for a scholarship, he/she must undergo a written test and an interview. Based on the final selection the student will be intimated through mail within 10 working days.

After receiving the scholarship, the student needs to register within two weeks and join the school within 90 days of receiving the scholarship.

Yes, if the fees is not paid before the due date JPY 100 per day charges for fee payment delay are applicable.

Parents have to submit their income certificates at the time of school admission process, and resident visa copies and ID proof if the student has availed any scholarship. The student and the parent must be a citizen or resident of Japan.

To cancel the bus services, parents must give one-month prior notice. If no notice or less than one a month notice is given, payment in lieu of notice will be payable.

The parents can re-apply for the bus services by paying the Bus registration Fee as per the School’s Fee Structure.
