GIIS Tokyo Summer School is a vibrant and dynamic programme specially curated for young learners aged 3–12. Join us for three exciting weeks during the summer holidays and experience a world of discovery, creativity, and growth at our esteemed institution.

To ensure every child is fully engaged and has a meaningful experience, we’ve thoughtfully curated age-appropriate camp themes for both kindergarteners and graders. Each programme is designed to balance fun and learning, with activities tailored to spark imagination, curiosity, and joy—while meeting the unique developmental needs of every age group.

Summer Camp for Kindergarteners

Theme: Fairy Wings and Dragon Tails

Let your little ones enter a magical world of wonder and imagination! Through storytelling, music, creative crafts, and joyful group activities, this camp nurtures creativity, confidence, and early social skills in a playful, supportive environment.

  • Eligibility: Nursery, K1 & K2 (Ages 3 – 5.11 years)
  • Camp Fee: ¥65,000 for GIIS students and ¥75,000 for Non-GIIS students

Summer Camp for Graders

Theme: Future Ready: Robotics, AI Innovation & English Skills Combined

This camp is perfect for curious and ambitious learners. It immerses students in the exciting world of robotics, AI, and advanced English communication. Through hands-on projects and collaborative problem-solving, campers will gain essential 21st-century skills in an engaging, future-focused setting.

  • Time: 9:00 a.m ~ 2:30 p.m
  • Location: Nishikasai Campus

  • Eligibility: K3, Grades 1 – 7 (Ages 6 – 14 years)
  • Camp Fee: ¥75,000 for GIIS students and ¥85,000 for Non-GIIS students

Graders Camp:

Embark on a thrilling three-week journey at GIIS Tokyo Summer School's Graders Camp, where each session is a new frontier in creativity and innovation. From robotics and electronics to space exploration and digital arts, this camp is designed to spark curiosity, foster innovation, and cultivate an appreciation for science and technology in an engaging, hands-on environment.

Week 1 kicks off with "Making Robotic Gadgets & Fun with Electronics," setting the stage for campers to explore the intricate world of robotics and electronic circuitry. As they assemble and program their gadgets, they'll grasp the fundamental principles that make these technologies tick.

Week 2 elevates the adventure into the stars with "Space Robotics & Animation/Game Development." Participants will tackle the challenges of space exploration using robotics and express their storytelling prowess through animation and game development.

Week 3 wraps up the camp with "Science Experimentation & 3D Printing Artwork," where campers will conduct exciting DIY science experiments and use 3D printing to turn their artistic visions into tangible art pieces. Each session is designed to spark curiosity, foster innovation, and cultivate an appreciation for science and technology in a hands-on, immersive environment.

Activities Included

Campers will enjoy an exciting mix of hands-on robotics, AI innovation, and digital creativity. From designing and coding tech gadgets to experimenting with IoT and sensors, every session is crafted to spark critical thinking and curiosity. Children will also build confidence in teamwork, public speaking, and creative problem-solving—all in a fun, supportive environment.

Optional bus service is available for an additional fee of ¥20,000 per child. Pick-up locations are fixed and determined in advance.
