WELCOME TO GLOBAL INDIAN INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL SEISHINCHO CAMPUS TOKYO

GIIS Tokyo’s Seishincho campus, located in Edogawa-ku, is a dedicated preschool for children aged 3-6 years. Established in 2020, this campus offers grades Nursery, Kindergarten 1, and Kindergarten 2, following the Global Montessori Plus (GMP) curriculum, a carefully crafted in-house programme at GIIS Tokyo. This curriculum embraces a transformative approach that incorporates hands-on experiential activities and theme-based learning. It actively involves parents in the educational journey, fostering leadership, creativity, and innovation development. By supporting social-emotional learning, it ensures well-rounded development for every child.

GMP also emphasizes holistic development through the ‘Excelerate’ Programme (literacy and numeracy), iPlay (significance of play and exploration), and iCare (awareness of the world around them). Additionally, the campus is certified for the government subsidy programme, ensuring quality education is accessible to families from all financial backgrounds, fostering an inclusive, supportive learning environment for every child.

Faculty

Our Kindergarten teachers, specialising in ages 3-6 years, are appropriately qualified and carefully handpicked based on their educational background, emotional maturity, and ability to engage with this age group. We seek passionate individuals who exhibit patience when dealing with young children. Additionally, our teachers are proficient in integrating the right amount of technology into modern teaching, ensuring that young students benefit from both hands-on and activity-based learning experiences.

Facilities

Our classrooms are designed to meet the needs of young, curious minds aged 3-6 years, providing stimulation and new experiences through props, toys, and learning materials. Each class accommodates a maximum of 17 students, supported by a homeroom teacher and support staff. Classrooms are digitally equipped with smart boards and whiteboards, facilitating interactive learning through videos, educational displays, and other activities. Large windows allow natural light, creating a conducive learning environment.

Our infrastructure, including Montessori labs, audio-visual rooms, a spacious library, music room, multipurpose hall, and yoga room, enhances the learning experience, making GIIS one of the best international schools in Tokyo.

Through our facilities and holistic pedagogy, we offer a strong foundation to students from their early schooling years. We dedicate our efforts to molding students into self-learners and curious individuals with a keen interest in knowledge gathering and daily evolution. Our well-thought-out curriculum ensures that academics and skills go hand-in-hand. Through activities, play, and environmental care, we teach our students to be well-rounded learners, ready to face future educational challenges.

This approach is part of our 9 GEMS holistic education framework, balancing excellence in education, sports, universal values, ethics, and personality development for our students.
