CBSE 2024 Board results: GIIS students exhibit commitment to academic excellence

Academic Results

GIobal Indian International School (GIIS) Singapore students have yet again demonstrated commitment to academic excellence in the recently announced CBSE 2024 Board results for Grades 12 and 10. The results are a testament to the relentless efforts of our students, and the guidance and support provided by our teachers.

GIIS SMART Campus recorded the school average at 82.8% with 31% of our Grade 12 students scoring over 90%.  Our students have brought laurels to the school in both the streams, science as well as in commerce. Sharad Gaur,  with an impressive 98%, has emerged as the school topper, securing the highest scores in Chemistry and Biology, in the science stream. Ira Pathak, who shares the highest score in Chemistry with Sharad (99/100) has achieved an exceptional score of 97%.

In the commerce stream, Meemansha Kaushal has achieved 96% with a perfect score (100/100) in Informatics Practices, and the highest scores in Business Studies and Economics. Furthermore, Roshni Ray with a score of 95% shared the perfect score of 100/100 in Informatics Practices with Meemansha.

54% of SMART Campus Grade 10 students achieve 90% and above

In a similar demonstration of unwavering commitment to academic brilliance, our Grade 10 students scored a 100% pass rate with 54% of our students achieving 90% and above. The school average was recorded at  87.4%.

At 97.7%, Bhargav Rajesh clinched the top spot in the CBSE Grade 10 cohort, followed closely by Dhara Parekh with an outstanding 97.3%. Suhani Krishnan and Nandan Arveti showcased their excellence with impressive scores of 96.8%.

SMART Campus Principal, Ms. Melissa Maria said, on this occasion: “I extend my heartfelt congratulations to our CBSE students for their outstanding performance in the 2024 exams. Their remarkable results are a reflection of their hard work, dedication, and talent, and we are immensely proud of their achievements. I am confident that these exceptional students will continue to excel in their future endeavours, bringing honour to themselves and our institution.

I would like to commend the invaluable contributions of our teachers, coordinators, and Deputy Principal in guiding and supporting our students. Their unwavering commitment to excellence has undoubtedly played a significant role in this remarkable achievement.”

‘I’ll miss my teachers”

“I came here (to GIIS Singapore) recently. For me, GIIS is a family. I’ll miss my teachers the most. For me they were like parents. If I needed anything, I’d go running to the teachers – to Melissa mam, to Beena mam… I’m going to miss that,” said Ira Pathak, at the recently held CBSE Grade 12 graduation ceremony at the SMART Campus.

“I’m very excited. Life has started now… Here in school, we were in a very protected environment. We didn’t know much about the ways of the world, per se – it was like we knew the theory and now the practicals have started,” said Ritisha Hooda during her CBSE Grade 12 graduation ceremony.

50% of the cohort at East Coast campus score 90% and above

GIIS East Coast Campus students have exhibited academic brilliance in the recently declared CBSE Grade 10 2024 Board exam results.

Shubhani Gupta emerged as the school topper with 97%, followed closely by Avanthika Gopinathan with 96%. With a 100% pass rate and 50% of the cohort scoring 90% and above, the school average stands at 87%.

GIIS East Coast Campus Principal, Mr. CVK Sastry said, on the occasion: “An outstanding result with a 100% pass rate and 50% of students scoring 90% and above is achieved due to the consistent focus on regular monitoring and individualised feedback given to the students by all subject teachers.”
