GIIS among Top Global IB Schools in the world

IB Curriculum

Attending an International Baccalaureate (IB) school has several advantages, including an internationally-recognised curriculum, focus on holistic development and multilingual proficiencies for students. This is combined with an inquiry-led, agency-driven, and research-based active learning experience.

At Global Indian International School (GIIS), our students have the opportunity to opt for International Baccalaureate (IB) from the Early years (ages 3 onwards, commencing from July 2024) to the primary years (IB Primary Years Programme) and the senior secondary years (IB Diploma Programme).

Ranked in top IB School League table

GIIS SMART Campus has achieved a remarkable feat by securing a spot among the top 100 Global IB Schools for 2023 by IB-schools.com. This honour for ‘excellence in academic achievement’ underscores our dedication to student excellence and academic brilliance.

For Grades 11 and 12 high school students, the IBDP – often called a pre-university programme, nurtures students to become 21st century leaders at GIIS. Regarded worldwide as an esteemed educational programme, IBDP empowers students to develop key skills such as critical thinking, problem solving, communication, collaboration, and interpersonal competence.

Competitive edge in university and beyond

For over 18 years now, GIIS students have had the opportunity to opt for IBDP, guided by our experienced and dedicated programme coordinator, and IB trained teachers. Year after year, our IBDP students have been trained not just in academic skills such as in-depth research, information literacy, subject area knowledge but also in diverse thinking skills for real world relevance. This gives IBDP students a competitive edge in university admissions and beyond.

‘GIIS teachers were the pillars of my IB journey’

“GIIS is known for its academics, facilities and extracurricular pursuits. The teachers and coordinators were the pillars of my  IB journey. I cannot emphasise enough the number of times I have relied on their experience, support, and brilliance. I will always remember the school for its community,” says Nevethita Bharati, 45/45, IB World Topper, Student of Law at University of Cambridge, GIIS Alumna, 2021 IBDP cohort.
