Our award-winning 9GEMS methodology improves the success rate
As the Cambridge Lower Secondary Curriculum is flexible, we have adapted the Key Stage 3 programme’s content to suit the culture and ethos of the international audience, making academic transitions smoother for anyone opting for IGCSE curriculum qualifications. To provide students with a 360-degree development, we have created an internationally recognised framework focusing on improving each student in nine areas: academics, ethics, physical fitness, leadership, critical thinking, problem-solving, vocation, creativity, and visual arts.
How GIIS contributes to a brighter future
GIIS offers customised and flexible educational routes through our academy using a combination of varied courses thoughtfully designed to complement our versatile collaboration arrangements and highly accommodating learning environment. Our Key Stage 3 Syllabus offers students an excellent opportunity to prepare for Cambridge IGCSE as our age-specific study resources follow the Cambridge Secondary framework. Through choosing from a list of ten subjects, we allow students to control the degree and quality of education they want to access.
The strong foundation provided by the cambridge international primary programme ensures students are well-prepared to excel in the subsequent stages of learning.
We support our students in developing their knowledge and skills with a special focus on English, Science, and Maths via Montessori school methods. Since we conduct Cambridge Checkpoint tests at the end of the programme, GIIS KL measures student progress over time. The knowledge acquired at our SMART Campus equips students for a world well beyond school.
Assessments and results
Every assessment helps both teachers and students assess learning progress. The Cambridge checkpoint tests are globally recognised as fair assessments of student progress. We have reduced our teacher-to-student ratio for Montessori schools so our CLSP experts can offer better counsel to each student.
Data Analytics at GIIS
GIIS has a unique methodology to check academic and non-academic progress. We have devised methods and installed platforms that give us raw data on student performances inside and outside the classroom. Data Analytics in academics at GIIS is called the 7S method. Teachers gather stats on marks in seven different areas: school, segment, section, subject, subject-teacher, student, and summary.

Parents’ Perspectives: Here’s What Parents Say About Us
As a proud GIIS KL alumna (CBSE, Class of 2017–18), I truly believe my journey began with the strong foundation I received at school. GIIS KL not only focused on academic excellence but also shaped me into a strategic thinker and a confident, empathetic individual. With the guidance and support of my teachers, I was able to gain admission to Universitas Gadjah Mada, Indonesia, and today, I serve as a Dental Officer at Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM), Faculty of Dentistry. My teachers played a pivotal role in nurturing my discipline, resilience, and emphatic me, qualities that I strongly old in my professional life. GIIS KL does more than prepare students for exams, it nurtures future-ready individuals with purpose, compassion, and the confidence to pursue their dreams. I am truly grateful to be part of this community.

Dr. Sevanthi Munisamy
(CBSE, Class of 2017-18)As a proud alumna of GIIS KL, I truly believe the foundation of who I am today began during my years at the school. After leaving GIIS KL, I pursued my studies at the University of Reading in the UK, and today I’m working as a Marketing Specialist with Marcus Evans, a global company. Stepping into an international university environment and later into an International global corporate setting felt natural to me , because GIIS KL had already prepared me for it. The diverse environment at GIIS KL exposed me to different cultures, perspectives, and ideas from a young age. It helped me become adaptive, open-minded, and confident in engaging with people from all walks of life. The discipline instilled through academics and co-curricular activities shaped my work ethic, while classroom discussions and presentations built the confidence I carry into every meeting and project today.

Whenever I faced challenges, they were patient and approachable, offering extra help, useful resources, and the motivation I needed to keep going. Their passion for their subjects sparked my own interest, which made learning enjoyable and helped me perform well academically.

Global Indian International School is quite well known among the Indian community in Malaysia. It has great facilities while compared to other international schools and the fees are quite reasonable. Teachers are really friendly and professional. They do not overburden the students with a lot of homework and mentor them with patience and kindness. No student is treated differently here. My son was really weak in math and Mandarin but the way he has been coping up in these two subjects is outstanding. Special thanks to both the subject teachers and I am really grateful for their undivided attention towards my son.

Pallaav Sethi
GIIS is one of the best international schools in Malaysia, and it delivers on all the promises. The fee structure is transparent, and the parent interaction is on point. Teachers make sure that there are no communication gaps and always give constructive feedback regarding our son. The suggestions are easy to apply and have helped our son immensely. I will give it 5/5 stars as the best international school in Malaysia.
