Frequently Asked Questions
How do I book a campus tour at GIIS Tokyo?
Simply fill out the short form on this page with your preferred date and campus, and our admissions team will confirm your slot and share all visit details by email or phone.
Which GIIS Tokyo campus will we be visiting?
GIIS Tokyo has four campuses — Nishi Kasai, Higashi Kasai, Seishincho, and Kita Kasai. When you book, you can select the campus that matches your child’s grade level, or our admissions team will guide you to the right one.
How long does a campus tour take?
A typical guided tour takes around 45–60 minutes, including time to walk through classrooms and facilities and ask questions with our admissions team.
Can both parents attend the campus tour together?
Yes, we encourage both parents to attend so you can experience the campus, meet faculty, and ask questions together before making a decision.
Should I bring my child along on the tour?
Yes, we’d love for your child to join the visit too. It’s a great chance for our team to get to know them a little, in a way that fits their age and grade, and our admissions counsellor will share more details when you book.
Is the campus tour free?
Yes, campus tours at GIIS Tokyo are completely free, with no obligation to enrol.
What will we see during the campus tour?
You’ll get to walk through classrooms, science labs, libraries, Montessori learning spaces, sports areas, and technology-enabled learning facilities relevant to your child’s grade.
Can we discuss curriculum, fees, and admissions during the visit?
Yes. Our admissions counsellor will be available during the tour to answer questions on curriculum pathways, fee structures, and the application process.
Is a virtual campus tour available if we can't visit in person?
Yes, we offer virtual tours for overseas or relocating families who are unable to visit Tokyo before applying.
Can a group or organisation arrange a campus tour?
Yes, group visits for families, agents, or partner organisations can be arranged on request, subject to availability.
How far in advance should I book a campus tour?
We recommend booking at least a few days in advance so we can confirm a convenient slot and have the right campus team available to host you.
What should I bring to the campus tour?
No documents are required for the tour itself. If you’d like to discuss admissions further, it helps to bring your child’s current grade/age details so we can guide you accurately.
