The Dr. Abdul Kalam Scholarship is available in a few different categories.

Category A Scholarship:

The Category A scholarship provides 19% off on tuition fees. This scholarship category is available to students who are:

● Top 10 national-level rank holders at the Olympiad by SOF/STEM Olympiad/Robotics Olympiad.

● The first, second, or third prize winners of the National Children’s Science Congress’s annual competition at the national level.

Category B Scholarship:

The Category B scholarship offers 15% off on tuition fees. Here are the eligibility criteria for Category B Scholarship:

● Top 20 national-level rank holders at the Olympiad by SOF/STEM Olympiad/Robotics Olympiad.

● The first, second, or third prize winner of the National Children’s Science Congress’ annual competition at the state level.

● Participants of the first ranking teams at the ISRO Space Quiz, NSS- National Space Space Settlement.

Category C Scholarship:

The Category C scholarship provides 9% off on tuition fees. To be eligible for a Category C scholarship, students should fulfil the following criteria:

● Top 30 rank holders at the Olympiad by SOF/STEM Olympiad/Robotics Olympiad.

● Top 10 rank holders at any national or international competitions run by giant IT companies like Intel, Adobe, Google, and Microsoft, mostly Google Science Fair.

● Top 10 rankers at the national, state, and international levels of the Robot Olympiad.

● Participant of the first two rankings at the ISRO Space Quiz, NSS- National Space Settlement.

Category D Scholarship:

The Category D scholarship offers 9% off on tuition fees. To qualify for this, students should meet the following criteria:

● National rank holders amongst the top 40 students at the Olympiad by SOF/STEM Olympiad/Robotics Olympiad.

● Top 20 rank holders at any national or international competitions run by giant IT companies like Intel, Adobe, Google, and Microsoft, especially Google Science Fair.

● Top 20 rank holders at the national, state, and international levels of the Robot Olympiad.

● Part of the first three rankings at the ISRO Space Quiz, NSS- National Space Settlement.

● Anyone who has received an innovation award at the national level like the CIASC-CSIR.

● Anyone who has received a state or national level achievement at the MOE/CBSE science exhibition or at the National Talent Search Examination, also known as the NTSE.

Students should keep in mind that their applications will not be processed if they turn in their applications with incomplete documents or without the proper support documents. To be eligible for the scholarship, applicants should be recognised or represented at the regional, national, or international forums mentioned above.

The scholarship process for the APJ Abdul Kalam Scholarship

If you want to get started on the scholarship process for the APJ Abdul Kalam Scholarship, let us look at the steps:

● Step 1: Submit your application form through the online link. While submitting your application form, make sure you are uploading all the relevant documents, including academic records from the past two years, publications (paper or thesis, if applicable), and any technology project-related documents.

● Step 2: In this step, the scholarship assessment will be done by the authorities. You will be notified within ten business days if you have made the cut. Prepare for the interview round in advance. Doing this will save you that much-needed time and give you the mental headspace to be psychologically prepared for the interview.

● Step 3: The third step includes a one-on-one interview. The scholarship will be disbursed to the students who clear this round.



Eligibility criteria for the APJ Abdul Kalam Scholarship

Listed below is the eligibility criteria for the APJ Abdul Kalam Scholarship:

● Applicant must be a resident of Singapore (PR/Dependent Pass/Student Pass Holders)

● Have represented at national OR international OR Regional forums under below categories

● Have written a paper, thesis or published documents OR have invented or innovated a tool/gadget related to digital space like Artificial Intelligence, Virtual Reality, Robotics, Coding, App-making, Blockchain etc.

● Provide relevant proof/s of the paper, thesis, publication, tool, instrument, application etc.

● Academic performance of the past two years.

● Global Citizen Scholarship. GIIS provides the Global Citizen Scholarship, also known as GCS, as a prestigious award to academically deserving students to learn and grow in their academic curriculum. The scholarship has a tenure of two years and applies to grade 11 to 12 CBSE students. To meet the eligibility criteria, applicants must have a 93% mark and above.

● Mahatma Gandhi Universal Values Merit-Cum-Means (MCM) Scholarship. The Global Schools Foundation, also known as the GSF, contributes to the academic needs of students through a wide range of different programs and initiatives, including the MCM Scholarship. The GSF gives financial assistance to low-income students and makes the learning process more affordable for parents of students across a diverse range of financial spectrums. The scholarship tenure is two years and only applies to CBSE and GMP students with household income between 60,000 -160,000 (SGD).

● Global FUTURE-READY Merit Scholarship. The Global FUTURE-READY Merit Scholarship, also known as the GFRM scholarship, allows students to become well-rounded global citizens and have improved access to top universities and undergraduate college programs. The scholarship has a two-year tenure and applies to grade 7 to 12 CBSE students with 91% marks and above.

● 9GEMS Holistic Development Scholarship. The 9GEMS framework is an award-winning scholarship program that helps students adjust and rise to the modern world’s evolving needs to become well-rounded global citizens. The scholarship has a one year tenure and applies to grade 6 to 12 CBSE students.
